Position description:Objective of position:The Bulk Goods Warehouse Manager position will be responsible for receiving orders, labeling and organizing all inventory as well as shipping and preparing bulk goods. They will work with NetSuite software to accurately receive in all products. This requires forklift, computer and organizational skills. It also requires the ability to lift up to 80 lbs. on a daily basis. This position will work closely with the box goods warehouse manager and often be responsible for daily shipping of outgoing orders. A strong work ethic and organizational skills are a must. Major responsibilities and critical tasks:· Receiving incoming orderso Receive daily shipments in. (Via FedEx, Truckload, Container, LTL, etc.)o Confirm the amount received matches the amount ordered. Mark and notify of backorders, errors, etc.o Organize and put away all incoming inventoryo Work in NetSuite software and with staff to do periodic inventory checks. · Ship outgoing orders using multiple shipping methodso Use organizational skills to determine best shipping methods and packaging.o Work with NetSuite software to accurately ship all bulk orders.o Catalog and learn different product offerings to insure accurate shipments.o Pack LTL “Less Than Truckload” shipments and fill out proper Bill of Ladings and schedule service.o Load and pack next day orders for 10-S Delivery Truck.o Meet with management team to provide updates on progress toward goals and offer new ideas · Organize and be responsible for overall warehouse conditiono Keep bulk goods warehouse clean & organized.o Make sure inventory is cycled properly / oldest inventory out first.o Work with warehouse and office staff to make sure we are using the best possible shipping methods and carriers.o Do inventory checks weekly to make sure inventory is accurate and up to date.o Do yearly complete inventory on all products.
