What We Are Looking For
Healthcare is a state of the art fast past work environment that specializes in creating patient specific medical tools derived from medical imaging technologies. We are currently seeking a full-time Entry Level BioCAD Engineer for our Medical Imaging and Modeling department. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing incoming patient-specific medical imaging data and performing medical image processing for use in pre-surgical planning.
What You Will Do
Do you have an interest in Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine? You will have the opportunity to view patient CT and MRI studies in DICOM format and identify anatomies of interest. How savvy are you with using CAD software? Your knowledge and skills will be put to use by using CAD software for the manipulation of 3D files and combining multiple datasets for surgical planning. If you can manage multiple priorities and communicate closely with a multidisciplinary team, this may be the right fit for you. How are your record keeping skills? They will be put to good use by maintaining detailed records of each case in accordance with the company’s Quality Management System.
What You Will Bring
Bachelors degree in Engineering or Design with strong background in CAD and 3D applications. Candidates should possess beginner-level or introductory experience relevant to the role.
The Skills We Are Looking For
3D design experience in CAD software. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel. Professional communication skills. General knowledge of human anatomy. Strong attention to detail. Good organization and prioritization skills. Ability to multitask in fast paced work environment. Familiarity with medical imaging modalities. Experience with medical image processing software (Mimics, OsiriX, Amira, 3D-Doctor). Experience with rapid-prototyping technologies like SLA, SLS, EBM, MJP or CJP. Exposure to medical devices and regulation (FDA, ISO 13485, etc).

Here is The Good Stuff!
Salary Range: $55,000 - $61,000 annually (salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the candidate, and alignment with market data) In addition to a salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus based upon company performance. 3D Systems offers a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage, company-paid short-term and long-term disability insurance, and company-paid basic life insurance. Flex (Vacation) Time, Sick Leave, FAMLI leave, Parental Leave, and 9 holidays per year are provided as paid time off. 3D Systems also provides a 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan option with a company match. Educational assistance and supplemental health and life plans are available.
