JOB SUMMARY
The Production Assembler performs manual labor along a production line; operates and troubleshoots production line tools, equipment, machinery, and computers; may perform minor repairs as necessary.
Primary Job Functions
Operate production line tools, equipment, machinery, and computers Troubleshoot production line machinery Responsible for component level quality assurance; make adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications; reject product outside of specifications Operate within standard operating procedures Complete daily production logs Communicate with peers and manager related to line activities and issues Clean and maintain work area Other duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications
Education and Training
High school diploma required; AA degree preferred
Experience
At least 1 year of assembly experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Cross training on all related job functions Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required; manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently
