Job DescriptionTeach swim lessons to children for 3-5 hours per shiftο»ΏCreate a SAFE, nurturing environment for studentsBuild confidence for students in the water, using the 5 Cities Swim School CurriculumCommunicate with students, families and staff membersWelcome feedback and enjoy the process of improvingReport to the Managers during shifts and provide support throughout the pool deck as needed
Swim Instructor Qualifications / ExperienceAbility to stand, walk, stoop, crouch or swim for up to 5 hours in the waterAbility to lift, hold, and/or move equipment or small child up to 50 poundsCan commit to a minimum of 1 year and at least 2 shifts per weekSome afternoon and weekend shifts requiredLifeguard Certified (preferred but not required)
Candidate ProfileFriendly, positive attitudeStrong work ethicDependable, punctual, detail-oriented, and well organizedFocused on SAFETYFlexible and able to adapt to company growth and evolving responsibilitiesMust be enthusiastic about working with young children
Compensation & Benefits$20 - 30 per hour, depending on experience$18 for TrainingMonday through Sunday shift availability
