📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Dometic Marine's facility in Litchfield, Illinois is our main distribution center that manages the packaging and distribution of aftermarket marine and OPE industrial products.
The Customer Account Manager is integral to our Customer Service teams and is responsible for handling key customers that have high volume and multiple million-dollar accounts.
Reports to: Sr. Customer Service ManagerPosition is onsite only; looking for local candidatesRelocation is not available for this position.
Main responsibilities:Responsibility to communicate with customers, estimate and enter orders, and perform a variety of additional activities to facilitate excellent customer relationships supporting Sales, Manufacturing, and shipping operationsHas a basic understanding of manufacturing processes and works with production staff to achieve on-time customer deliveriesResponsible for multiple accounts of medium to large customers with high complexityCommunicate with customers regarding issues such as order status, shipping discrepancies, and backordersResolve service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problemBuild sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication with the sales team and the customersCreate reports to update customers on open order status and explain backordered productResponsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with customers and work to establish a positive rapportUpdate and maintain daily reports
