As a Project Manager, you will oversee the all phases of the construction project from pre-construction, construction to project close out.

Specific Responsibilities Include:Develops and executes project plan with full buy-in of all stakeholders, from pre-project planning, project scheduling, construction to project closeoutReviews and completes contracts and project documents in a timely mannerManage communication with all stakeholders including schedules, change orders, work plans, time lines, project progress, and project budgetOversee project costs while maximizing job profitability and utilization of resourcesEffectively manages safety Work with estimating team on bidding and budgeting projectsMeets all contractual & regulatory obligations of each projectInsures quality and high stakeholder relations on all projectsConduct regular inspections of work completed to ensure quality meets or exceeds Company standardsProcess final project close-out upon completionKeep Management regularly informed of project status, lead meetings and planning sessionsInteract with Company clients and vendors, maintaining positive customer relationsSupports estimating regarding constructability, providing Austin Underground, Inc. a competitive edge on bidsSupports Austin Underground, Inc. in securing future project awardsRepresent Austin Underground, Inc. with honor and integrity; exercises specific signature authorityEffectively demonstrates Mutual Respect Policy in job interactions (Muy Bien Policy) Demonstrates professionalism and respect in all job interactionsPerform administrative office duties as needed (copying, filing, emails, correspondence, etc.Other duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of experience in Heavy Civil, Utility Construction and Commercial Construction Project Management A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or Civil Engineering with management related coursesStrong communication skills in both oral and written forms; Excellent follow through and attention to detailAbility to successfully prioritize and complete multiple tasks within project deadlines is essentialAbility to pre-plan and coordinate several projects in regard to material contracts, manpower, equipment, safety and subcontractorsAbility to read, analyze and interpret standard business documents and project plansThorough understanding of schedules, project budgets, submittals, change orders, and job costingAbility to understand a variety of instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.Very high work ethicDemonstrates uplifting attitude, contributes to a positive team dynamic, embraces diversity, and able to make the workday fun and engagingDemonstrated computer skills, including use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet ExplorerValid driver’s licenseKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS Very high work ethicExcellent communication skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to read, analyze and interpret standard business documents and project plans.Ability to interact effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints from owners, inspector, vendors, & employees regarding all business issues & operating concerns. Ability to understand and use intermediate math to calculate figures, percentages and ratios. Ability to apply concepts of basic geometry/algebra as needed.Ability to define problems, interprets data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.Ability to understand a variety of instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.Demonstrates uplifting attitude, contributes to a positive team dynamic, embraces diversity, and able to make the workday fun and engaging.Bilingual language fluency preferred (Spanish) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to lift/carry objects of up to 30 pounds. Ability to walk, crouch, climb stairs, talk and hear.
