CNC Machinist

CNC Lathe Setup Machinist A&L Machining is a high-production precision CNC machine shop with decades of experience. Our operation is growing, and we are seeking highly motivated individuals to work within a team-oriented, supportive work environment. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced lathe machinist who is able to competently and independently perform set-ups and run lathe operations on parts with tight tolerances. We will train on company specific procedures, but general lathe setup competency is a must. Eagerness to grow and develop as a machinist and work as part of a team within a growing company is also important to ensure a good cultural fit. Supervisor: Lathe Lead Minimum Position Requirements Lathe programming abilityLathe setup abilityAbility to make affective decisions when determining workholding methods and tooling selections for assigned tasksAbility to inspect work using basic measuring instruments upon hire and be able to learn/utilize precision measuring equipment (such as CMM, Sylvac, etc.) within 6 months of hire. Pay: $24-28/hour Benefits: Health, dental, vision with extremely low copays, holiday+sick+vacation PTO, career progression opportunities Shifts available: Day, 10 hour shifts Monday through Thursday with OT on Friday as available.
