Our services include claim scrubbing, accounts receivables audit and collections, claims follow-up, electronic and paper claims submissions, payment posting, patient statements, and appeals.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Biller at A Step Above Health Management Systems in Manahawkin, NJ. The Medical Biller will be responsible for handling day-to-day billing tasks, including reviewing and processing medical claims, resolving denials, assigning appropriate ICD-10 codes, verifying insurance coverage, and communicating with insurance companies and patients.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Medical Terminology, ICD-10 coding, and Insurance billingExperience in handling Medicare Medicaid, Commercial claims and denialsStrong attention to detail and accuracy in claims processingEffective communication skills to interact with insurance companies and patientsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesExperience with electronic billing systems and softwareKnowledge of medical billing regulations and complianceCertification in Medical Billing or related field is a plusExperience in podiatric medical billing is a plus
