Global Trade Compliance Analyst

Job Description Summary

Enforces the Trade Compliance program for the organization. Ensures conformance with all legislative, regulatory, and/or accreditation requirements. Coordinates trade compliance training programs and communications as necessary.

Job Description

Analyzes import and export data to ensure compliance and procedures are being followed. Files applications for Customs licenses, special authorizations or permist required to import or export products. Responsible for ensuring proper documentation is created and available for Customs import or export clearance. Maintains recordkeeping program for import and export transactions. Performs assessments of Customs Brokers and communicates performance. Supports cost study activities. Determines Customs classifications and duty rates. Supports Free Trade Agreement programs. Leverage internal and external systems to help validate customs compliance information. All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills And Education

HS Diploma - GED

Minimum 5 years of experience in Import/Export and domestic transactions

Minimum 2 years of experience in trade compliance & Customs

Any trade certification in a related field a plus
