Position Responsibilities
Diagnose, rebuild and repair automotive transmission systems to specifications- knowledge of electrical and computer systems is a plusExplains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include other teammates and customers as requiredRemove and Reinstall Transmission systemsAssist other technicians in performing technical activitiesContinuously learns new technical information and techniques informal training session in order to stay abreast with the rapidly changing automotive technologyKeeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occurMaintains an organized service department

Job Requirements
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience working as a Automotive Transmission RebuilderHold a valid driver’s licenseOwn professional grade toolsExperience with mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience specific to transmission rebuildingAbility to communicate solutions to othersASE certifications a plusSafe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment
