As an EV Ecosystem Market Development Leader, you will support the Electrification Business Area and Divisions with EV Grid-to-Charger (EVG2C) and EV manufacturing segment growth by monitoring/segmenting the market opportunity across the full EV ecosystem, developing growth and go-to-market strategies and mechanisms for segments within the EV ecosystem, developing strategic business opportunities and supporting high visibility EV industry partnerships, collaborating with external stakeholders and industry to develop and shape the EV ecosystem market, industry, and policies and marketing ABB EL US’s full solution basket to EV ecosystem customers and segments.

Your responsibilities

Market Development: Work with and across Electrification (EL) Divisions to identify, prioritize, develop, and implement go-to-market strategy for EL products and EV ecosystem target segments – EVG2C and EV manufacturingAnalyze state of the market, align offering to customer needs, build segment positioning for various stakeholders, demand generation, sales enablement, as well as white spot analysis and connected strategies to penetrate the marketBuild on EL’s current market share in the EV ecosystem and set targets for growthProvide market intelligence analyses in support of identification and development of new markets, segments or solutionsParticipate in internal work groups in order to share know-how, processes and market informationBusiness Development: Bring together relevant EL Divisions, sales teams and product groups to expand understanding and grow ABB’s share of wallet with EV ecosystem opportunitiesSupport EL commercial teams as they pursue customers and develop new business opportunities in the EV ecosystem marketIndustry Relations and Marketing: Work with EL divisions, including product marketing and communications functions, to define, coordinate, and implement unified EV ecosystem offering, message, and marketing materialPosition ABB as an industry and thought leader in EV ecosystem via event talks, webinars, panels, white papers, etc. for various stakeholders, including contractors, distributors, customers, end-users, and engineering partnersPromote ABB’s EVG2C brand and offerings with external and industry stakeholders and policy makers. Influence and shape the development of the EV ecosystem marketPosition ABB to participate in and influence the development of standards, codes, and regulations that impact the EV ecosystem

Your background

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM category (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or Marketing, advanced degree preferredMinimum 10 years in electrification or related industry with background in product management, marketing and / or salesExperience in the US market including knowledge of EV charging and manufacturing customers and funding modelsCompelling presenter with ability to capture audience attention and deliver highly relevant content to various stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to work across multiple functions and groupsSelf-starter and effective communicator who is passionate about his/her position and committed to fostering a “team” approach and achieving successful resultsCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
