This position involves heading a team in the Motion NEMA Motors production unit or line, ensuring continuous and efficient production operations in line with plans, procedures and quality and safety standards and policies.
In this role, you will aid in the transformation of parts and raw materials into ABB products in a timely and cost effective manner, managing resources to meet production targets.

Your responsibilities
Foster a culture where safety is first priority and procedures and policies are followedBe a representative of management that portrays a professional attitude and supports the Baldor goals and objectivesProvide leadership, direction, training and administration of anyone assigned to their departmentBe responsible for the quality, production, safety, housekeeping and problem solving on a daily basis for your assigned areas. Operate in compliance with OSHA and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet ) StandardsMust work with all other departments, supervisors, and managers to solve problems and accomplish plant goalsApply sound communication and motivational techniques in supervising, counseling and discipline direct reportsEnforce general handbook policies fairly and consistently
Your background
Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 0-2 years experience OR Associates Degree with minimum 2 years experience OR High School Diploma / GED with minimum 4 years experience.Candidate must be able to supervise employees while achieving all daily production goalsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and ExcelEffective time management and the ability to prioritizeUnderstand manufacturing concepts, processes and Flex Flow and Lean concepts - preferredSAP, Kronos - preferredMust be willing to attend leadership and continuing education classesCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
