What You'll Do

Begins to identify opportunities for deeper testing and innovation within media strategy/recommendations and works with IS counterparts to organize Assumes oversight of those responsible for campaign management and provides QA, troubleshooting and support Applies a story telling flow to presentations and has a proven ability to think on your feet to adjust as needed in the moment Provides deeper thinking on media insights and proactively manages potential brand impact, outlines future opportunities, and aids AM in upselling/cross selling Manages media team scope on assigned projects, flagging for PM when overages are expected and organizing the team accordingly Defines and adjusts process for new tools/tech/offerings as needed Identifies and delivers against the "need" Ability to assess and train on new media tools for planning- thinking creatively about other ways to pull insights using knowledge of digital technology Regularly uses research from media tools to propose or defend new ideas Showcase an understanding of digital, social and emerging platforms and technologies Begins to push partners on roadmaps "wouldn't it be great if it could do this" Begins to understand how to differentiate between 2nd/3rd party data sets and use cases Creates and fosters team motivation, consistent positive attitude that influences others Demonstrated commitment to employee development including career pathing for direct reports and provides meaningful feedback for all junior team members during annual reviews Proven ability to develop junior team members by identifying and providing growth opportunities outside of day to day Assists Director/VP with hiring by helping refine job descriptions to better suit team needs, assessing candidates, and flagging potential fits based on experience and culture Mentoring team members from other teams and aiding overall IS team growth Established relationships among other IS team leads to identify opportunities for media collaboration and upsell/cross sell to clients Begins to establish higher level relationships- peer +2 levels- with IS leads, department leads, client leads and vendor leads
