TAX ASSOCIATEAs a Tax Associate, you can expect to perform the following:Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.Review client data and prepare journal entries.ReconciliationsDevelop strong working relationships including client management and personnel.
Education and competencies required for the position as follows:Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, Master’s degree preferred.Public accounting experience preferredKnowledge of accounting and auditing standards.Experience with journal entry preparation, accrual vs. cash basis of accounting.Experience preparing 1040, 1120, 1065, and other domestic tax forms.

Additional competencies desired:Computer skills:Experience with Ultra Tax, of Pro Systems, QuickBooks, and Practice CS preferred.Advanced Excel proficiency.
