Accounts Payable Contractor

As an Accounts Payable Contractor, you will be an essential member of the accounting team. This position requires someone with meticulous attention to detail, the highest ethical standards, and the ability to clearly communicate and collaborate across multiple departments. This role requires a solid foundation in all things related to accounts payable and a passion for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; work effectively within cross-functional teams; be highly resourceful and deliver under tight deadlines.

You will

Partner with our senior accountant to own all aspects of accounts payable, including processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices and initiating vendor paymentsRecord and reconcile Company cash transactions into the general ledgerMonthly bank reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolutionsPerform regular analysis and reconciliations of Account Payable ledger balancesAssist in performing a timely and accurate month-end closeAd hoc tasks as needed

You have

Prior Accounts Payable experienceUnderstanding of booking accounting entries including debits and credits as it relates to cashExcellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Nice to have

Bachelor’s (B.A. / B.S.) in accounting, finance, or other related disciplineUnderstanding of accounting standards (U.S. GAAP)Experience with AvidXchange Experience using Netsuite
