Director of Business Analytics

The Business Analytics Director will be responsible for analytics focused on monitoring, understanding trends, and making recommendations for improving performance across a number of areas within the business. The role will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver actionable insights that help meet business goals. A successful Director will quickly build a deep understanding of the business, its data, and be able to effectively communicate results and present recommendations to executives.

The ideal candidate will be a results-driven, strategic thinker able to thrive in a dynamic, rapid-growth environment. Exceptional candidates will have best-in-class data skills including SQL, Excel, dataset manipulation, data visualization (Tableau), and presentation.

This role is expected to be hybrid, 3x per week in-office in Northbrook, IL

You will

Conduct and present analysis on major operational challenges and opportunities, and recommend actionable solutions Re-define and challenge company KPIs that are critical to achieving company and business unit goalsWork closely with the product and operations teams on new initiatives and report findings to senior leadership

You have

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, STEM, or other analytical field5 years professional experience in marketing, product, strategy, or business analyticsPrior experience in Strategy Consulting, Financial Services, or Start-up environments Deep familiarity with coding in SQL; experience in Excel and Tableau preferred
