Systems Administrator
Absolute Resolutions Corporation (ARC) is seeking a dedicated and proactive Systems Administrator to join our IT team. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. You will work with a variety of technologies and platforms, including Windows Server, Nutanix, Azure, Office 365, and more. Job Duties Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks Maintain CMDBProvide 2nd and 3rd level support Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem-resolution Skills to be Successful Experience with Windows Server & Office 365Entra Domain ServicesIntune Deployment and ConfigurationAzure Privilege Identity management Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP) Ability to create scripts in PowerShell, Perl, or other language Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude Excellent communication skills System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network-related fields are a plus Experience with Nutanix Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experienceProfessional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role Valid Drivers License Reliable transportation Benefits Comprehensive health, vision and dental insurance 401(k) plan Paid time off and holidays Training and development opportunities Mentorship and career guidance Location Bloomington, MN
