Job Summary
Kensington is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team!
Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with sales and marketing departments to assist in the development of annual sales budget/quarterly forecast, including development of sales programs/promotional strategies and quarterly sales incentive targets by rep with sales leadersPrepare monthly sales performance reporting and analysis across product categories, channels, and verticalsPerform product category analysis through pricing, cost, and standard marginOrganize sales account ownership data to support sales employees’ productivityManage POS reporting systemManage third party sales agency reporting and paymentSupport marketing team in processing third-party POs (track and report)Sales and Marketing OpEx planning, budgeting, management, and monthly reportingSupport month end close from performing necessary JE, analyzing monthly financial results, providing insights on sales, price, volume, margin, and variance driversOffer financial expertise to support organizational goalsDevelop processes and/or improve existing processes, with desire to influence change across our team
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent required3-5 years’ related experienceExperience in Sales, Distribution, and/or Marketing preferred SAP ERP experienceProficient in Microsoft Office products, Advanced spreadsheetDetail oriented, experienced at financial modelingAptitude for analyzing data to identify trends and root cause driversStrong analytical, financial, and business mindsetExcellent organizational, written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skillsSelf-starting attitude and able to work with minimal direction to achieve resultsStrong teamwork skillsMust be comfortable and/or willing to learn how to present insights to executive management teamsAbility to work a hybrid schedule, working from the local office 2 days per week
