Job Description
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceLead and manage the day to day operations of the Food & Beverage Division ensuring all service standards are followedPlan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.Help ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.Hands-on support all outlets and F&B operationsInterview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate staff.Drive innovative promotions, menus and conceptsSupport all Food & Beverage departments in the achievement of their financial and operational targetsAssist with development, implementation and management of the department's business/marketing plan and budgetEnsure the implementation of standards in guest service and constantly seek out ways to improve product and service as well as increase volumes and profitsRespond to customer trends, needs, issues, comments and concerns to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales prospectsAssist all departments with the recruitment, training and development of all employees within the divisionEnsure compliance with all company programs; follow department policies, procedures and service standardsEnsure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards and policies, while supervising regular auditsDrive innovative promotions, menus and concepts; creating a destination of choice for both Hotel and external guestsOther duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred3+ years of leadership experience in a related positionLuxury hotel experience preferredStrong knowledge of operationsAdvanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food and beverage industryAbility to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public, etc.Excellent communication skills both verbal and writtenAbility to train and develop leadersAbility to budget and forecastExtensive Food and Wine backgroundExcellent people skillsAbility to work with a diverse staffAbility to coordinate special events
