📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Accountants One has been hired by a rapidly growing, publicly traded fintech company to find a Director of Financial Reporting to join their accounting team. The role reports directly to the CAO and will be responsible for compiling and generating annual and quarterly financial statements and the MD&A, as well as other filings (offering memorandums, For S-1, 401k, annual proxy statement) of an SEC registrant and publicly traded company. This will include involvement with monthly and quarterly close and internal and external financial reporting.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related business fieldCPA required8+ years of accounting and/or financial reporting experiencePublic accounting background preferredTechnical financial reporting expertise (GAAP, SEC rules, regulations, regulatory accounting & reporting requirementsM&A and integration of financial reporting operations systems preferredProject managementExperience with Workiva as an SEC reporting platform, Blackline for close management, and Netsuite as an ERP systemExcellent written and presentation skills, team building capabilities
