📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Senior Accountant - 100% in-office - Must have home-building experience.
Accountants One has a successful growing homebuilding and development firm in northeast metro Atlanta and has an immediate need for a Senior Accountant. The company does have excellent healthcare benefits, and a bonus and it is 100% in-office. This Senior Accountant reports directly to the CFO, and Controller and will also work closely with the President. This is a unique opportunity to be a vital part of the management team of a growing company.
Responsibilities will include:Full cycle accounts payable with the help of a staff accountantBank and intercompany reconciliationsReview Accounts Receivable posting and sub-ledger maintained by the staff accountant.Prepare journal entries based on HUD loan closing packagesWeekly analysis of budget to actual construction projectsSpecial projects as assigned by the Controller and PresidentSome general administrative duties
Requirements:BS in accounting, Masters a plus, CPA a plus5+ years of accounting experienceConstruction or project accountingMust have worked for a Home Builder -ResidentialMust have done month-end close and financial statementsSage experience is a plusSomeone very organizedSend resumes to cindycannon@accountantsone.com
