Director of Finance And Administration

Fully on-site in Kew Gardens, Queens. Non-profit experience required. Consulting/Temporary role.

We are seeking a skilled Director of Finance and Accounting to oversee the financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards within a large non-profit organization. Reports to Executive Director and manages accounting staff.

Duties:Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.Prepare forms 990, 5500, CFR's, census reports and OPWDD reports.Manage treasury functions, including cash flow and investments.Lead the annual budgeting process and provide financial forecasts.Supervise accounts receivable and payable processes.Coordinate audits and ensure regulatory compliance.Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements:7+ years of Controller, Director of Finance and Accounting, and/or CFO experience within a non-profit organization.Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.Strong leadership skills.
