Fund Accountant

Acorn Advisory Capital, L.P. is an SEC registered investment advisor founded in 1982. Acorn’s products include hedge funds, fund of funds and private equity vehicles. Acorn provides investment advisory services to its parent company, Delphi Financial Group, Inc., a Tokio Marine Company, as well as family office and third-party clients.

This is a hybrid role that reports to the Controller and will work closely with Operations, Compliance and Finance teams.

Job DescriptionAll accounting associated with monthly closings for firm’s various fund related entities and managed accounts including monthly journal entries, investment manager reconciliations, managed account reconciliations, and capital account allocationsMonthly with third party administratorQuarterly and annual financial statements and assist in year-end audits.investor-related statements

QualificationsAccounting degree2-4 years of accounting experience in financial services, public accounting or fund administration

CompensationBase salary starting at $90k, commensurate with experienceDiscretionary annual bonusBenefits including medical, dental, 401(k)
