Job Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Public Entity/Municipal Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing a portfolio of clients within the public entity and municipal sector.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients in the public entity and municipal sector, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.

Policy Processing

Review, meticulously process, and accurately bill new business and renewal policies.Complete all necessary applications and meet additional requirements for comprehensive new and renewal marketing strategies.

Collaboration

Collaborate seamlessly with underwriters and internal teams to ensure the delivery of exceptional service to clients. Foster a collaborative environment that promotes efficiency and teamwork.

Endorsements and Audits

Thoroughly review and meticulously bill any endorsements and audits.Process endorsement requests promptly to meet client needs.

Documentation

Issue certificates, binders, and ID cards accurately and in a timely manner.Maintain up-to-date schedules for various categories (Property, Inland Marine, Vehicle, etc.) to facilitate effective portfolio management.

Accounting

Address and resolve accounting discrepancies promptly, ensuring financial accuracy and integrity.

Coordination

Work closely and effectively with Claims and Risk Management staff as needed to address client concerns and inquiries.

Continuous Learning

Actively participate in industry classes and seminars to stay informed on the latest industry developments and best practices.

Ad-hoc Duties

Undertake any other assignments or duties as required by the position to contribute to the overall success of the team.

Job Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of college preferred.Strong multitasking, organizational, communication, and grammatical skills.5+ years of proven experience in property and casualty insurance, with a specific focus on public entity and municipal clients preferred.Proficient in Epic Agency Management Systems.Designations such as CIC, CPCU, CISR, AAI, ARM are preferred.Current Property & Casualty Insurance License.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
