📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Description
In this position the material testing technician will be involved with field observation, inspecting and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete and asphalt placement. Daily communication is required with site contractors, other technicians and project managers. The candidate should have the knowledge an ability to perform observations, inspections and tests of construction projects and to document findings in accordance with accepted engineering practice.

Responsibilities
You will perform testing of various construction materials including soils, concrete, asphalt and aggregatesperform testing according to relevant engineering standards, ASTM, AASHTO, ACI, Etc.Record daily reports for each jobsite visited each day and transmit reports to office weeklytrack all equipment and suppliesperform other duties as assignedAdhere to OSHA standards

High school diploma/GED required; 0-2 years of experience in construction
testing/inspections of soil, concrete, and/or asphalt materials preferred;

obtain International Code Council (ICC), American Concrete institute (ACI)
