Description
Designing quality controls with all appropriate safety featuresDevelops and debugs PLC and operator interface applicationsAssists in the startup and support of the controlsCost awareness of different approaches, selecting optionsServes as primary contact, supporting service technicians and customers during startupProvides long-term technical supportCreates technical manuals and detailed instructionsAssists in developing and maintaining standards for machine controls, and operator interfacesVery important: PLC programming techniquesVery important: Good communication and documentation skillsTravel within the US occasionally for testing and commissioning

Siemens S7 controls and drive systems; Profibus and ProfinetSiemens HMI programmingWonderware Intouch visualization / script programmingEthernet network configurationsPLC programming / software engineering techniques and concepts (modular design, state machines etc.)Good communication and people skillsAbility to be productive under pressure, maintaining attention to detail while tracking multiple projectsWill be teaming up with colleagues within our group (mostly in Germany, however, company language is EnglishSiemens is a requirement. - need to have some experience
