Description

Product Researcher: 1. Conduct research focused on consumer needs by planning, coordinating and interpreting quantitative and qualitative consumer research activities. 2. Compile, analyze research reports and present findings/recommendations/solutions for reaching the consumer goal 3. Possess a strong understanding of consumer behavior and category dynamics translating into meaningful product measures enabling the R&D team to design products for maximum success 4. Collaborate with internal R&D team to achieve various options of reaching the consumer goal a. apply/execute best-in-class consumer research methods, and potentially implement new ones, to generate new insights into consumer unmet needs. 5. Host consumer panels to gauge response to product changes/improvements

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Qualifications: 1. BS/BA degree in a related science and 8 years’ experience, or MS degree in a related science and 5 years’ experience, or PhD in a related science and 3 years’ relevant experience in Personal Care and/or Surface Care 2. Significant experience within consumer health companies in product categories where consumer science makes up an important part of product development. 3. Strong experience and background in a key Consumer Product Insights team skill field including designing and conducting qualitative and quantitative consumer research studies (CLTs, HUTs, FG, interviews, workshops, co-creation, data correlations). 4. Able to effectively translate technology opportunities into winning consumer propositions 5. The drive to take an idea from conception through to realization. 6. Experience in insight generation and deep consumer understanding, consumer segmentation and concept development amongst others, working closely with external partners to deliver. 7. Ability to integrate sensory and consumer methods into research plans, integrate data and draw conclusions that could generate motivating concepts in line with brand strategy.
