📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Description
Lead production of deliverable documents throughout the SD, DD, CD and CA phases.Review documents for quality control evaluations, and ensure ongoing compliance with Project Document Procedures.Supervise project staff and direct their work.Adhere to the project schedule developed by the Project Manager and advise on anything that would prohibit meeting deadlines.Organize meetings with clients, produce minutes and action items in order to maintain project schedule.Review and coordinate the design documents of consultants, provide feedback and ensure systems are appropriate for the intended use and construction budget.Meet with suppliers and vendors for product research relative to projects.Manage CA phase work, attend project meetings and produce Field Observation Reports to document the progress of the construction.Seek out new design and construction methods that ensure Best Practices for projects.Ensure that the project network structure adheres to firm standards. Document all major decisions that are inconsistent with client recommendations or changes in scope. Assist the Project Manager with PM responsibilities as requested.
Skills & Qualifications
BS or MS Degree in ArchitectureNCARB (Licensed Architect) preferred AutoCAD and Revit experience requiredHousing / multi-family project experience (100+ units)Construction documentation experienceConstruction administration experience
