Description
Construction Superintendent
Supervises the field construction of a project, including its organization, planning, scheduling, and cost control to complete the work on time, under budget, and to quality specified.
Reports to: Project Manager and/or Owner
Direct prior experience with the USACE Serves as the primary point of contact between owners/architects/engineers for the day-to-day construction activities of the project. Review of Plans and Specifications, Review incoming Submittals, Reviewing Scheduled Manpower and reporting deficiencies Review all RFI's, submittals, change orders and status reports Manage and make decisions related to the performance of work related to scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control and staffing Lead pre-construction coordination meetings with all trades Manage the work to ensure that it is installed in compliance with and conforms to the approved contract documents. Review all submittals and confirm only approved materials are permitted on the jobsite.
