A automotive parts manufacturing company is actively seeking a 1st shift Production Supervisor to join their facility near Madison, AL.

Responsibilities of 1st shift Production SupervisorOversee production team members including schedule, staffing, production goals, etcEnsure the products are meeting company standard qualityMaintain clean and safe workplaceEnsure adherence to rules and workplace policiesExamine processes and design plans to effectively use available resourcesLead/support plans to improve quality systems and facility structuresComplete regulatory compliance related documentation & proceduresBuild and maintain a professional relationship with team member for effective communicationFollow all OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, EPA standards for optimal operations for the facilityPerform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications of 1st shift Production Supervisoryears of experience as production Team Lead in the automotive parts production operationsyears of experience in automotive parts manufacturing settingAssociate’s degree in Business Administration, Management or related field or equivalent experienceStrong leadership skills in team environment and skills to bring positive atmosphere to the team Ability to be flexible to work effectively with wide variety of people and to work responsibly and effectively in a multicultural environmentExcellent communication (Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening) and presentation skillsAbility to multi-task and perform duties time efficientlyTeam-worker, Detail-oriented, Responsible, Punctual, Self-motivatedProficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially ExcelWhile performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
