Manufacturing Process Engineer – Automotive Parts Manufacturer

An international automotive parts manufacturing company is actively seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their facility near Elizabethtown, KY. Responsibilities of Manufacturing Process EngineerAnalyze the current production system and plan Kaizen/improvement solutionsImplement the solution to improve the stamping / welding production efficiencyCommunicate thoroughly with other department in order to improve efficiencyTest new equipment and analyze the efficiency, assist new equipment installationWork closely with Maintenance team to ensure maintenance is according to scheduleEnsure to minimize downtimePerform robot programming if necessaryCommunicate closely with other department to solve any production/quality issuesEnsure daily production meets goals and meets company standard policyPerform all other duties as assigned Qualifications of Manufacturing Process Engineer3-5 years of experience in production engineering fieldSolid knowledge in PLC programmingBachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field or equivalent experience or equivalent experienceStrong leadership skills in team environment and skills to bring positive atmosphere to the teamAbility to be flexible to work effectively with wide variety of people and to work responsibly and effectively in a multicultural environmentExcellent communication (Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening) and presentation skillsAbility to multi-task and perform duties time efficientlyTeam-worker, Detail-oriented, Responsible, Punctual, Self-motivatedProficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially ExcelWhile performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift upto 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
