Sales Engineer - Automotive Parts Manufacturing (34410)

An international automotive components manufacturer is searching for a Tier 1 Sales Engineer to join their team in the Findlay, OH area. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment and is technical-minded, with the ability to independently develop new clients and business opportunities. This is a full-time, direct-hire position with an excellent benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as 401(k) matching.

Sales Engineer Responsibilities:Identify new business development opportunities and establish relationships with potential customers within assigned sales territoryAct as point of contact for customers and clients regarding product issues, quality assurance, technical support, and any other questionsCollaborate with sales and engineering teams about planning and design, customer requests, market analysis, and expected demandPreparation and delivery of product proposalsCreate price quotations and negotiate price/costs with customersSecure product orders and follow up on tracking and deliveryAchieve sales goals and revenue targets with minimal supervisionCreate sales and activity reports for upper managementOther duties as assigned

Sales Engineer Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering field preferredMinimum 3-5 years’ sales and account management experience, in a manufacturing environment preferredStrong ability to communicate and collaborate in a multicultural environmentFamiliarity with mechanical engine components (Bearings, Bushings, etc.) in the automotive industry is strongly preferredStrong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasksSolid computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsWhile performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk, and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
