📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Acuren Inspection is currently looking for a remote Collections Clerk to support our US operations.
Responsibilities
Monitor and manage a portfolio of accounts to ensure timely payment and minimize delinquency ratesDaily collection calls/emails on past due accountsConduct all customer contact in the spirit of providing friendly, courteous serviceMaintain accurate records of collection activities, including customer contact details, payment arrangements, and collection notesAnswer customer questions regarding their account status and billing issuesResearch disputes/short payments on customer accountsLiaison with billing admins to resolve billing errors and credit memo requestsRecommend credit holds for delinquent accountsIdentify bad debt balances based on company policyProvide regular updates to Office Managers and Controllers of AR delinquenciesIdentify and propose solutions to increase the effectiveness of processes and proceduresSupport local offices with dunning lettersPrepare and distribute customer statementsMonitor shared email providing timely replies to customer inquiriesSupport other areas of accounts receivable as needed
Requirements
High School Diploma1 - 5 years of experience with AR CollectionsAbility to professionally and effectively build relationshipsDemonstrate excellent oral and written communication skillsHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailBasic proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, MAS 500, Additional Acuren-specific systems, Additional client-specific systemsExperience working in an industrial environment would be considered an asset
