Accounts Payable Lead

Role Overview:Our client is seeking an Interim Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist to assist their team. This candidate is responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with accounts payable, including: analyzing invoice flow and associated approvals for accuracy, ensuring timely payments to vendors, and preparing payment registers for approval. Key Responsibilities:Coordinates accurate and efficient processing of all invoicesEnsures timely input of all invoices into Oracle within 5 business days of receiptGenerates and submit payment requirements to management for approvalProcesses and generates check, ACH and credit card paymentsResearches and resolves discrepancies with vendor setupCoordinates 1099 tax reporting and escheatment processesAssists with monthly rebate processingPrepares analysis and reports summarizing AP staff invoice entry and work-related functionsWorks as liaison with travel and credit card providers and provide reporting to Senior ManagementAssists in projects as assigned by department management to maintain data integrityIdentifies and immediately reports to the Director any existing or potential issues that may affect client relationships or internal stakeholdersWorks with the Director on special projects requiring detailed activity analysis
