Job Title: Associate Director, R&D AccountingInternal Job ID: 10022574Location: San Francisco (Hybrid)Salary: $190,000-$195,000 / year
Our well established, growing, global biotech has multiple commercial drugs, a strong development pipeline and looking to hire a mission critical professional for their controller's team. In this role you will manage two staff and own all R&D Accounting (early stage, clinical, post-commercial). The position will span both the technical accounting as well as the people, process and systems surrounding R&D accounting.
Candidates interested in this role need to show demonstrated success working with non-finance professionals (R&D, TechOps, 3rd Party Contractors etc.) and somebody with an inquisitive and analytic mind that can gain the trust of business partners.Requirements:7+ years relevant accounting experience from public accounting, industry or a mix of the twoAbility to analyze and digest complex contracts to determine proper accountingBiotech preferred, but not requiredCPA preferred
