📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Position: Clinical Medical Coder90 days onsite for training, then onsite 1 day/weekType (Contract/Contract to Hire): C2HHours: 8 hrs/day—40hrs/wk. Specific times can be discussed with supervisor EMR software: EPIC but not required, if do not have EPIC they will be training Productivity Expectations: 2.3/hr and 95% Certifications: CPC Preferred, open to CPC-ATop 3 things the client wants to see on the resume: Clinical coding experience w/ some hosp. exp. (may be asked to jump in on a few hosp. visits)Someone who has a good work record, and does not hop around a lot Needs to be reliable, as well as, willing and eager to learn1-3 experience coding for GI preferred1-3 experience coding for Hepatology preferredPreferred experience coding in endoscopy, colonoscopy, and upper endo. preferredPay: 25-30/hr
