At Company, we are hard at work continuing the great legacy of Age of Empires, our beloved RTS franchise. We are a passionate group responsible for this amazing franchise and are expanding our team looking for a wonderful colleague that will be responsible for building the tools that empower our development teams across the world to create great games worthy of the Age of Empires legacy!
Responsibilities
Act as the Azure subject matter expert for the growing team building infrastructure used across the Age portfolio.Implement new features, improve security, observability and automation, increase reliability.Provide troubleshooting and timely resolution of Azure, network, and infrastructure problems.
Candidate Requirements
8 to 10 years of overall experience in the field.Degrees or certifications required: No degree is required to be eligible for this role, however a bachelors degree in the technical computer science-related field is preferred.Someone who’s worked on large scale game infrastructure specifically in Azure.
Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
Minimum 8 years’ experience with Azure infrastructure.Minimum 8 years’ experience with scale sets Azure networking.Minimum 8 years’ experience with Azure VM (Virtual machine).
Qualifications
6+ years’ experience building cloud infrastructure.3+ years’ experience with Azure Compute, Storage and Networking technologies.4+ years’ experience with scripting languages (python, bash, ruby, etc.)Expertise in implementing automated unit and integration testsExperience securing Azure infrastructure (RBAC, Security Groups, AAD/Entra, NSGs, WAF)
Bonus Skills
Automated CI/CD pipeline (e.g., Azure DevOps)Content Tools and PipelinesDeep understanding of Unreal Engine’s build pipeline and asset management systemsExperience supporting Perforce based CI/CD pipelinesExperience in working with non-engineering disciplinesExperience in working with remote teamsExperience with infrastructure tools like Kubernetes and DockerExperience with compiled object oriented languages (C++, Go, C#, etc.)
Compensation
The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
