We are looking for an experienced Senior Enterprise Architect to join our team at a leading Contract Research Organization (CRO). The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in cloud technologies, particularly in Azure, and a proven track record of driving change within organizations. The Senior Enterprise Architect will play a critical role in bridging IT and business operations to address key business challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:Architectural Design: Develop and maintain future-proof enterprise architecture solutions that align with the company's strategic objectives and enable long-term growth.Technology Integration: Lead the integration of advanced cloud technologies such as Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake, ensuring seamless interoperability with existing systems.Data Management: Oversee data architecture and governance, prioritizing data quality, integrity, and security across the organization.Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior architects and engineers, promoting best practices and exploring emerging AI solutions.Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and align IT solutions with critical business problems, driving impactful change.Innovation: Continuously evaluate industry trends and emerging technologies, particularly in the AI and cloud space, to recommend cutting-edge solutions.Project Management: Lead architecture and infrastructure projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.Documentation and Standards: Maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture designs and standards, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.10+ years of experience in architecture, with at least 5 years in Enterprise Architecture roles in other organizations.Strong expertise in cloud technologies, particularly Azure, with a good grasp of emerging trends and AI solutions.Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.Experience in clinical trial, life sciences, or pharmaceutical industries is a significant bonus.Proven ability to anticipate future trends and strategically drive organizational change.
