User Experience Designer V

Summary

As UX Designer on this team, you will be help lead and execute in the consolidation of UI / UX design for a variety of projects spanning multiple screen sizes and platforms. You will be working from existing requirements to design product design flows, interactions, and content strategies in collaboration with business leaders, engineers, product managers, and other UX and visual designers. The team will look to you to help identify opportunities when experiences are inconsistent and hold the bar when simplifiers are suggested. To be successful you must be a critical, inventive thinker with clear design chops, an excitement for understanding and using data, and an ability to communicate your ideas effectively. Being a big music fan is a plus.

Responsibilities

Be the UX design lead for projects across a range of platforms that touch numerous aspects of the company Music experience.Work from high-level requirements and ask the right questions to gather all relevant information to guide design direction.Quickly iterate on multiple design explorations to arrive at a simple, but robust solutions, accounting for complex requirements.Validate designs through testing.Collaborate on and present work to a range of stakeholders – executives, engineers, product managers, business leaders, researchers, other UX and visual designers.

Basic qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in design (UX, product), HCI, behavioral economics, cognitive psychology, or related field or equivalent professional experience.5+ years of experience in UX design and research for products on web, mobile, voice or emerging platforms.Strong online portfolio and results in digital (web and app, if not also emerging platform and voice) work.Experience working in direct collaboration with product managers, front and back-end engineers, and business or editorial stakeholders.Experience designing with Pattern Libraries and using a variety of research and testing methodologies.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills including the ability to present design concepts clearly and persuasively to colleagues, partners and stakeholdersAbility to work efficiently and demonstrate a bias for action in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environmentRelentless desire for innovation, balanced with business needs and customer expectationsProficiency in UI / UX design and prototyping tools

Compensation

The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
