Instrument Fitter

Location: Freeport, Tx (Live within 35 miles radius from Freeport)

Position Type: Long Term contract

Pay: $25-$33/HR

Responsibilities/Job Duties for the Instrument Fitter include

The Instrument Fitter will Assemble and construct custom Process Analyzer Systems from schematic and detailed arrangement drawings. Places parts in specified relationship to each other. Work to disassemble and remove instruments and reinstallPerform tube bending; install instrument stands, tube tray, instrument air headers, instruments, screw pipeMust be able to bend and route instrument tubingMust be able to work with low and high-pressure tubing/piping systemsMust be able to receive, inspect, handle, and store instrumentation and componentsOverhaul instrument systems and be able to repair or replace faulty parts using power tools and small hand tools

Qualifications

4-7 yrs experience as Instrument Fitter/Pipefitter

Ability to pass an instrument fitter test with the ability to use a tubing bender

Must have knowledge of National Electrical Code as well industrial sampling systems.

Must be able to travel 30-50% of the year mostly local some outside TXNCCER Certification in Pipefitting or Instrument Fitting preferred
