📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Location: Irvine, California, United States Salary: $80K - $90KTop Key: strong knowledge of Sales and Use Tax
RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Job Functions:Support the month-end general ledger close and prepare journal entries.Perform account reconciliations.Assist in preparing income statements, balance sheets, and other internal and externalfinancial reporting.Assist in the preparation of annual operating budgets, forecasts and variance analysis.Support income tax research/ special projects, filings, and accounting treatmentsDevelop financial system improvements/ upgrades/ controls.Evaluate process deficiencies, formulate corrective action plans, and develop processimprovements and/or procedural controls.Identify areas of concern/ opportunity and recommend corrective actions.Assist in planning, execution, separation, integration, and organizational restructuringactivities for post-merger initiatives.Other general accounting responsibilities and special projects as required.Support financial reviews and audits conducted by independent auditors.
EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferredProficient Excel skills (models, templates, building macros/pivot tables).
