THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUAs a Technical Artist, your responsibilities will include:Partnering closely with engineering and design teams to define and develop content and systems.Designing, managing, and maintaining the character pipeline, collaborating with cross-functional disciplines such as art, design, engineering, and project management.Managing the technical animation pipeline, including the development of Maya tools and plug-ins for rigging and animation.Developing broad technical expertise to assist in various technical and artistic tasks.Quickly resolving issues with cross-functional leads and thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORSTo excel in this role, you should possess:5+ years of scripting/programming experience with languages such as Python, JavaScript, or C#.Experience creating tools and automation for character pipelines in one or more Digital Content Creation (DCC) packages.Proficiency with game engines like Unity, Unreal, Godot, or Frostbite, and previous experience on game development teams.Knowledge of game animation and animation behavior systems, as well as game/runtime profiling and optimization techniques.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSIn addition to the must-have skills, the following qualifications would make you a standout candidate:Proficiency in C++.Strong soft skills including creativity, verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and time management.
