The Project Advocate’s role will focus on supporting the Senior Project Advocate though all phases of design and construction. The successful candidate must be adept in time management, budgeting, and organization with a keen eye for potential construction issues.

Experience:2+ years of professional experience in residential construction, preferably in luxury home building. Also, a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field is preferred (or equivalent combination of experience/education).

Responsibilities:Assist the Senior Project AdvocatesAttend project site visits for inspections and monitoring of construction progress. Draft weekly client update reports.Monitor owner, design team, and contractor plans and communication during design and construction.Create conceptual budgeting and estimating models.Ensure a reasonable, realistic budget is developed, maintained, and achieved.Review professional services contracts, fee proposals, design team drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.Review contracts and approve pay applications throughout the duration of the project. Ensure quality construction and best practices are instituted.
