The Senior Project Advocate role will focus on supporting the specific needs of homeowners and coordinating a project team though all phases of design and construction. The successful candidate must be adept in time management, budgeting, and organization, and possess the interpersonal skills that would allow them to effectively collaborate with the owner, the architectural and design teams, the general contractors, and all sub-contractors. This job is one of being a leader to advance our clients’ objectives.

Experience:10+ years of professional experience in residential construction, preferably in luxury home building. Also, a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field is preferred (or equivalent combination of experience/education).

Responsibilities:Develop, lead, and manage a project team composed of high-quality experts that have the confidence and capability to advance our clients’ needs and interests.Provide expert guidance to homeowners to maximize value in the building process.Ensure all project team members are aligned with the same project goals and objectives throughout all phases of design and construction. Monitor and manage owner, design team, and contractor communication during design and construction.Create detailed, conceptual budgeting and estimating models.Ensure a reasonable, realistic budget is developed, maintained, and achieved.Manage clients, contractors, and consultants to adhere to the overall budget and schedule. Review professional services contracts, fee proposals, design team drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.Oversee contracts and approve pay applications throughout the duration of the project.Ensure quality construction and best practices are instituted.
