Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Construction Engineering Manager to be based in Orange, California .

Typical duties to be performed by the Construction Engineering Manager, but not be

limited to, the following:

Performing and assisting in performing the duties of a Resident Engineer, including, but not limited to, roadway construction inspection, quantity calculations, checking grade and alignment, labor compliance interviews, traffic control review, and assuring compliance with project plans and specifications. 　 Identifying actual and potential problems associated with the construction project. Work and recommend sound engineering solutions in a timely manner. 　 Maintaining an awareness of safety and health requirements and assuring. Compliance with applicable regulations and construction contract provisions for the protection of the public and construction project personnel. 　 Preparing quantity calculations, records, reports, and correspondence related to construction project activities. 　 Assisting in the preparation of final As-Built plans and reports at the completion of construction. 　 Performing and assisting in all aspects of required office construction engineering work including setting up and maintaining project files, processing required documents and progress payments, as necessary. 　 Performing the Inspection and compliance monitoring of Storm Water Pollution.　 Prevention Plans (SWPPP)/Best Management Practices (BMP).

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS + 8 year of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Valid Driver License required

Preferred Qualifications

Professional Engineering License is preferred Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Degree, Construction Engineering, or related field from an accredited university Minimum of 5 years experience working on highway/transportation projects as a resident engineer

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $150,000.00 - $210,000.00.
