📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Aerometals is looking to add the following position
Project Planner
Pay range: $35 - $42 hourly
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to:government, commercial, and aerospace/defense contracts.drawings, engineering document packages, part markings, packaging, and government/commercial specifications.job releases from approved job templates.ERP software to calculate job material requirements for raw stock, hardware, and time-sensitive materials, and create indentured bills of materials.with purchasing as required to source and quote materials and services required for the manufacture of contracted parts.and status all job releases.closely with shop personnel and project engineers to resolve technical issues with assigned projects.contract administration with timely responses and updates regarding scheduled deliveries, deviations, contract modifications, and critical safety item (CSI) requirements.responsibility for a job from cradle (initial workup) to grave (shipped out the door) unless it’s transferred to another project planner while in process.other duties as assigned by the organization.
Qualification Requirements
Education: Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering degree or equivalent.
Skills:Proficient in windows OS and Microsoft Office SuiteProficient in Adobe AcrobatKnowledgeable in manufacturing processesAny ERP/MRP system and/or JobBOSS knowledge preferredSolid Modeling a plus with SolidWorks
Experience: 2 years in drafting, planning, production control, or purchasing.
Training: On the job training.

About Us:Aerometals Inc. of El Dorado Hills, California is a 40-year veteran of commercial and military aerospace manufacturing. We offer a full range of production services including CNC machining and turning, sheet metal fabrication, welding, assembly, autoclave, and precision assembly. Aerometals has significant experience manufacturing critical application, militarized components to OEM engineering data for use on many fixed wing aircraft and helicopters.
