Software Engineer II, Frontend (T&S Experience)

The T&S Experience team is searching for a frontend engineer that will help us build modern frontends that are deployable anywhere. Your role will be instrumental in designing the next generation of Affirm's Checkout Platform to provide a world-class buying experience that puts customers first! You will be building out new experiences that touch login, signup, authentication, risk and fraud detection, and much more.

Our team is critical to Affirm's core business, as we sit at the top of the checkout funnel and are instrumental to making sure we lend to good customers, and not malicious actors. Our team is specifically tasked with enabling the orchestration of identity & fraud verification measures, that are present throughout the checkout flow. What You’ll Do

Build foundational capabilities to safely & securely identify consumers with low friction, with novel data and logic via data-driven and iterative approaches.Enable Affirm to grow and scale in 3 key axes: product expansion, partner network expansion, and consumer network expansionImplement business critical features enabling new user experiences in the frontend (web).Drive major engineering initiatives with wide impact across many teams.Assist with planning cycles, estimating work and setting milestones.

Mid: $173,500

Max: $208,200

USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year:

Min: $124,900

Mid: $156,100

Max: $187,300

Affirm is proud to be a remote-first company! The majority of our roles are remote and you can work almost anywhere within the country of employment. Affirmers in proximal roles have the flexibility to work remotely, but will occasionally be required to work out of their assigned Affirm office.
