We are looking for a Regional Culinary Services Manager. As a Regional Culinary Services Manager, you'll travel to communities to assist in the dining operations by planning menus and directing food service programs to provide consistently tasteful, nutritious, and appealing meals/snacks, and promote healthy choices. Regional Culinary Services Manager position details:Travel to communities as assigned by the VP of Dining Services.Work with VP of Dining and Regional Directors of Operations in planning and implementing culinary program rollouts.Support and prepare communities to pass quality and food safety audits.80% travel on average, fill in for Culinary Services Manager as needed.Work and assist Culinary Leaders in meeting financial targets and compliance standards.Develop culinary leaders, through ongoing and targeted training.Support communities in their recruiting efforts for cooks and servers.Community emergency and crisis response either in person or through directing the regional team and communicating with operational leads.Consult with VP of Dining to create/review seasonal menu cycles and adjust through MealSuite platform. Oversee ongoing maintenance of recipe/menu platforms.Prepare meals and any other food service activities as required.Assist with hiring and onboarding for new culinary team membersHelp to orientate all staff members regarding functions, programs and procedures for dining services.Catalyze integrating process improvements across the region, leading, and championing tactical implementation of enhancements and/or changes. Able to inspire and motivate others to drive improvements.Maintain a sanitary, orderly, and safe kitchen and dining environment, in compliance with State and Federal regulations.Help develop & implement new income-generating dining services.Must have acceptable MVR for insurance for a rental vehicle.Embrace & demonstrate the organization’s 4 core values: Professionalism, Integrity, Compassion, Commitment.

Regional Culinary Services Manager knowledge, skills, and abilities:Knowledge of food handlers and safety regulations.Knowledge of the ordering process and inventory control.Proven track record of integrity.Excellent verbal/written communication and problem-solving skillsProficient computer skills.Must be detail-oriented and accurate.Travel up to 80% in the State of WA and CA with an overnight stay for up to a week at a time.Maintain the confidentiality of verbal and written information about residents, prospective residents, facility operations, and personnel.Understand and work within a designated budget.Lead by example and teach others to create a strong team.Work scheduled hours based on personnel, and community needs including possible weekends and evenings.Work independently and/or interact with team members at all levels and promote teamwork.Recognize improvement opportunities.Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, service-oriented, environment.
