Role Description
This is a contract hybrid role for a WebSphere Application Server Administrator. As a WebSphere Application Server Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and maintenance of WebSphere Application Server environments. This includes installing, configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and providing support for WebSphere Application Server instances. While this role is primarily located in Downey, CA, some remote work is acceptable.
Qualifications
Strong experience in WebSphere Application Server administration and maintenanceKnowledge of Java/J2EE technologies and web application developmentExperience in configuring and managing WebSphere clusters and resourcesProficiency in troubleshooting and resolving WebSphere-related issuesFamiliarity with security concepts and best practices in WebSphere environmentsExperience with performance tuning and optimization in WebSphere environmentsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamRelevant certifications (e.g., IBM Certified System Administrator - WebSphere Application Server) are a plus
