POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for assisting with all aspects of soybean seed production.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsible for production activities during different seasons including seed conditioning, packaging, warehousing, treating operations, container washing, maintenance of equipment, and field inspectionsAccurately complete all paperwork in a timely mannerWarehousing and load building, including load checking for accuracyActively engage and promote a culture of safety and follow safety proceduresPrepare boxes for packaging, including washing and repairsAssist with housekeeping and preventative maintenance of our equipmentAssist in field operations and scoutingAssist in Bulk Seed movement and managementMaintain housekeeping of plantResponsible for projecting a positive image of AgReliant Genetics and act in accordance with the Company’s Core Values. Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious experience in the seed/ag industry is preferred

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a teamStrong attention to detailExperience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and common PC-based softwareAbility to obtain a pesticide operators general standards license

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to lift up to 65 poundsAbility to work assigned hours and shifts including overtimeAbility to work indoors and outdoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditionsAbility to walk seed fields, up to 5 miles/day

Must have a valid driver’s license and meet MVR guidelines
